I don't know what is going wrong with my images . When I preview my reply, they come up fine, but when I post the reply and the post comes up, the pictures don't show.
Can anybody else see them?

Can't see them. I noticed you have 315/75R16 tires on your truck, how do they fit and how wide are your wheels? I need new tires soon and am debating between 285/75's and 315/75's . Thanks

I have a leveling kit installed in the front and a custom bumper, so I have lots of room. My wheels are 16 x 8s.

Here is the theory on thermisters, There are negative tempature coeffiient (NTC) and positive coefficient (PTC)thermistors. The resistance of the NTC thermistor goes down as it's tempature goes up, although the resistance of the PTC type goes up as the tempature goes up. coolant temp sesnor and air charge temp sesnores use NTC thermistors. I could not down load the pics on idaho's post, But on the bbk pressure regulator there is a port on the side of the regulator to thread in the guage, with the use of 90 deg. 1/8 pipe thread elbow it will face towards the drivers side front fender in clear view with the hood open. (I'm not a big fan of running fuel lines into the cab). Fuel pressure sould be checked engine running no vacuum to the regulator. It' a good idea to check the fuel pressure before removing the stock regulator to give you a base spec. to start from (use the stock fuel pressure port for this) you will probably have to borrow mechanics fuel pressure guage and adapter for this. regards, Domenico....

well it"s been 10 days since I orderd my bank's headers, no phone call yet. (I hate waiting for stuff) anyways I'm curious you guy's that have headers on the efi 460 do you get that nice header ring at idle (I run a small block chev in a 66 nova as a quarter mile car and just love that sound) before all you guy's jump down my throat its's ok I run a choped ford 9' for reliability in the car. well what do headers sound like on a efi 7.5. PS I know the cam /compression ratio has a lot to do with it so just wondering how it sounds with a stock cam regards Domenico......

They definitly made an improvement in sound on my truck. Yours might sound different being they are tri-y design and mine are four tube, but I'm not sure. I get a little of that header ring you are talking about, but not much. Hope you enjoy them.

Talking headers have arrived

Got my banks headers yesterday, Not what I expected they look like normal steel headers The injection pipe are stainless steel but a magnet stuck to every thing else. Phoned banks and the tell me thats thet are made of 404 stainless or somthing ( I know the basics but I'm no pro when it comes to metallurgy) Anybody got some info or own's bank's headers. I dropped some big coin here and just want my monies worth. All input appreciated. P.S I also posted this in the exhaust forum but mabey this situation concerns the 460 headers only?. regards Domenico

Dom, I have talked at length with Banks about this. According to them the steel that the headers are made of is a stronger stainless than the type of stainless steel that you can polish to mirror brite finish, mostly because there is more iron in it. They will change color to a "rust like" brown over time. It is stainless steel but just a stronger grade. When I buy mine I am going to get them Jet Hot coated to keep them looking new for the life of the truck. Let us know how the install goes.

Thorley headers

Reading this thread with much interest. Also live in the Vancouver, BC area.
I thought the 4-2-1 system was designed and yields better low end torque due to the firing order and mating of cylinders accordingly. Thorley makes this style and includes the Y pipe also. Any response from users of the Thorley set-up.
Looking for a performance boost for hauling my BAC (big *** camper). Got the K&N filter and the 70 series with a mandrel 3in system that dumps out the psgr side. Any other mod suggestions?

HIGH GUYS, sorry I have not answered post's. Hunting season comes around and I drop everything,. (Something about bashing around the back woods with a 4x4 and a rifle that I cant resist). Didn't have time before the hunting trips to install the headers, (I was just checking every thing out last night and soaked all the studs with penatrating oil. I looked for that pb blaster stuff, but it must U.S.A only, none of my suppliers have herd of it. Kirk460 as for other mods you can remove the snorkles, some say yes some say no my 2 cents is just get air in and get exhaust gases out. Once you do that you can start to by-pass the speed density system to add more fuel, (adjustible pressure regulator, resistor in the air charge sensor). Here is somthing that will put a smile on all you big block owners face, one of my hunting partners owns a dodge 24 valve diesel and spent $1800.00 on mods before are trip, (fuel plate, injectors, uped turbo boost and so on) we both weighed in at 13800 lbs rolling weight) to make a long story short, he had no chance as I passed him up steep long hills with ease. It put a big grin on my face I tell you!. Zamboni 250 what does it cost for the jet hot coating?. regards Domenico....
