Headers for V10 Triton
I recieved an Email from Borla yesterday, they no longer make headers for the 6.8L. The truck has a Borla cat back system on it now.I have heard of others removing the cat.conv. and going to the Y pipe.The province I live in has no emission testing and should not be a problem.Will Cat. removal give the computer grief? Can anyone tell me who supplies good quality headers for this application. 
The headers I have used in the past on muscle cars have had numerous problems due to poor quality.I would not want to repeat these adventures

Borla part # for a 99 is 17172. Banks would be the best out there. You can buy just the headers for about $1100 usd. Gibson, JBA also make them but they are the shorty type. If you remove the cat the exhaust noise will drive you nuts. Very loud roar.
Ebay has a set of Borla's item # 190017398522 If you want them then now's your chance.
I had a complete Borla system on my 99 and had 0 issues and increased mpg and power. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
