found some replacement leafs already. From 2002 F-350 with 7.3

leafs have new bushings and the shocks are new, and the 4" blocks. all for the tiny price of some beer. He wants two 30 racks of Miller for it all. get to pick up next week once he's back off vacation

Pulled the locking hubs out to clean and see what the issue is. Drivers side has been stuck engaged

the last guy in here put it back together wrong. the spring belongs sandwiched between the plastic pieces. Both hubs were also lightly greased with green stuff. It wasn't grease anymore, thicker than peanut butter. and many of the moving surfaces had zero grease at all

You can pull the ***** and grease them too. It makes them turn much easier... https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...9-04-hubs.html

When the cable ends age, they break off and the latch cables stop working. They keep that from happening. Bought a set while I was in lubing up the hatch in mine. Works great now, power lock/unlock and key based. There's a thread or two here about that and probably one in the tech section for the Excursion.

I get the light mount, but where is your 2A mount and your tactical tomahawk mount?

Added a set of lights to the tails. Had the sockets laying around along with some extra 3157 bulbs. The spot is already there, so a little massaging with a dremel and the sockets click right in

Quite a light difference. Left is with both, right is factory setup

Damnit!

Pulled apart because I had a rhythmic "whoomp" noise above 30 mph that would randomly change pitch. Was hoping the needle bearing was culprit.

Turns out no. Upper balljoint fully blown, lower about 1/2 that. I don't know how to tell if unit bearing is bad...so replace everything.

Luckily the 1/2 shaft isn't worn. The needle bearing didn't screw me
