Belt/pulley noises last few days. Finally got my Gatorback belt and new idler pulley. Not sure why was causing the noise, but it's gone. Stinking rust man!
Day of minor, but important fixes and maintenance.
1. Greased all the zircs I could find.
2. Adjusted drag link to recenter steering wheel following lift
3. Replaced e-brake switch
4. Indexed rear driveshaft to chase down a vibration from 30-40 mph
5. Installed Delrin spacers on front leafs to eliminate squeaks over bumps
All minor, but have been bothering me something fierce.
Nice work! Following along. We will be in the market for an EX for the wife at the first of the year, but a 7.3...you have done some pretty nice resto work. You from Texas?
