The bezels are small parts and maybe not critical, but I think beating the dead horse is worthwile. The results will determine what I decide to do with my bigger (and more $$) stuff!
Well worth waiting for plater's to respond, sent 4 off today, now awaiting their return, will post pic's.

I agree. They are small but they are right in your face every time you sit down in the truck. I sprung for a new DC dash panel just for more bling. But I can't work up the nerve to take a hole saw to it so I can install the ALT & OIL gauges.
Update: After pondering member's chroming sources sent the 'alt' and 'oil' gauge bezel to Nuprint Customs. Arrived yesterday, with regards to the threat of breaking the tabs, considering using bench buffing wheel and a mild, plastic or glass compound, and attempt to remove the plating from the tabs, comments appreciated. Due to chrome glare the after pics do not do the workmanship justice, pleased with results. Looking forward installing in restored CC cluster.
Looking Good. I don't think there is any way to avoid at least a couple of those tabs breaking off. I had three break on the best bezel I had. I put a very small bead of self leveling epoxy seam sealer around it. Of course now it's permanently attached. But it ain't going to fall off.

Probly go with barnulies law, leave well enough alone. Problem is my mind set, if a project takes longer than it would take to cook a 3 min. egg I lose patience and refrain from resorting the using the 36 grit buffing compound?

Yes, when I emailed platters, along with pic's they all noted thru the platting process it's likely the inner ring could not be saved? Probly best to leave well enough alone, probly require some prepping to get a paint to adhere to the thin chrome platting.
