HI Jokers250,
I purchased my Mirrors from 1A Auto:
The Trail Ridge 2 mirror set - P/N 1AMRP02256 - Power Heated w/ Heated Spotter Glass,
Turn Signal/Marker Light Memory, BLIS,Puddle Light, Power Folding, Power Telescoping
Textured Black cover : Price $774.95 w/tax $842.76

I also purchased: a Door panel switch set off of eBay for $110, the link is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/29353117939...&s=ci&mail=sys

I got my door modules (Driver/Passenger) from Tasca Parts: JC3Z-14B291-A Control Unit $29.66 + tax
JC3Z-14B291-C Control Unit $31.08 + tax

1A Auto had different versions of the mirrors, I chose the one with all the features so that I might have the option
to turn them on some other day. Getting the mirrors without features, like BLIS are less expensive, I think.

I basically followed the steps that many of the previous contributors had published in these threads:
1. Checked to see that I had the 22-pin connector, if I had the 8 pin connector I would have need an additional part.
2. replaced the mirrors. Not too hard to do, took about 20 minutes.
3. swapped the placement of the #18 and #19 wires in the harness leading into the mirrors. THis proved to be more challenging as I didn't want to brake the wire
and I couldn't get a rigid enough wire to fit and push down on the plastic catch. After countless tries I was eventually able to get them out and swapped.
4. I used forscan to to save my original settings for the two modules (DDM and PDM).
5. I then replaced the two modules and saved their settings in a different file.
6. Once I replaced the modules I restored the original module setting (saved in step #4) on to the new modules
7. I then made the changes to tun on the power folding features. I tried using the hex numbers provided in the Forscan spreadsheet,
but they didn't work so I used the english easy setup where I just had to "Enable" the features. This seemed to work better for me.
8. Once I verified that the mirrors were working with the keyfob lock/unlock , I replaced the Driver side Door module, that included the
power fold mirror button. IT worked fine.

Now as I said before, one thing I did notice is my Auto-Up feature for my window isn't working, minor annoyance but I'd still like to get it working again.

Hope this help. Let me know if you need more info or have other questions.

Hoping someone here can shed some light on my install. Everything is done but still no power fold.

2019 F350 STX power tow mirror w/360 cameras, just no power fold or scope.

Parts list of what I've added.
Drivers side:
Mirror HC3Z-17683-SB(fold, scope, puddle light, 360 camera, heater, turn and marker lights)
DDM JC3Z-14B291-A
Door harness JC3Z-14631-A
switch JC3Z-14529-BA
switch housing HC3Z-14527-EA

Passenger side:
Mirror HC3Z-17682-SB
PDM JC3Z-14B-291-C
Door harness HC3Z-14630-P

I installed everything, used forscan as noted above, made sure everything was on, and turned off the items i dont have like BLISS in the DDM and PDM. Everything works powerscope etc… except the power fold and the puddle lights(I have not hooked them up yet, but i do have the wiring for them)

any ideas on what I missed?

thanks in advance.

Could your power fold switch be faulty?

Did you use the following to program in forscan?

To enable driver door mirror powerfold/scope:

In the DDM (driver door module)

Address: 740-03-01 As built instruction: 0000 4B Change to: 8000 4B

To enable passenger door mirror powerfold/scope:

In the PDM (passenger door module)

Address 741-03-01 As built instruction: 0000 4C Change to: 8000 4C

I have the 2019 XLT. The hardware conversion was pretty straight forward and the forscan programming (as built) which I acquired from other forums matched up with my truck. I think it would be good to see if the (as built) OEM numbers on your truck are matching up with the following (Addresses and their respective as built) numbers as shown below. Are other/some OEM addresses matching up with the (as built) numbers for this conversion? I did not find any inconsistencies with the OEM (as built) numbers on my truck, which gave me confidence to complete the change. It is very important when using forscan, as others have mentioned on this forum, back up all the OEM (as built) numbers before changing anything on your truck.

Here is all of the info I have and used on my truck:

FORSCAN PROGRAMMING

To enable the spot lamps (BOTH):

In the BCM (body control module)

Address: 726-56-01 As built instruction: 0000 0000 0185 Change to: 0000 0100 0185

To enable driver door mirror powerfold/scope:

In the DDM (driver door module)

Address: 740-03-01 As built instruction: 0000 4B Change to: 8000 4B

To enable driver door mirror turn signals and puddle lamps:

In the DDM (driver door module)

Address: 740-04-01 As built instruction: 7000 BC Change to: F000 3C

To enable passenger door mirror powerfold/scope:

In the PDM (passenger door module)

Address 741-03-01 As built instruction: 0000 4C Change to: 8000 4C

To enable passenger door mirror turn signals and puddle lamps:

In the PDM (passenger door module)

Address 741-04-01 As built instruction: 7000 BD Change to: F000 3D

So just to make sure I'm following this correctly. My as built for my new DDM for 740-03-01 is C860 73 as shown in the picture. Following these instructions I should be 8860 4B?

Im getting the puddle lamp module wed, so I can keep going on this project.

i’ve never used forscan with the as-builts, just the easy way, so im learning on this one.

thank you for your help

No, your end result for Address: 740-03-01 (As built) would be: 8000 4B. Please keep in mind that OEM check digits are specific to how the truck was built at the factory. I was fortunate enough to find someone on a forum who had an XLT without the powerscope/ folding mirrors, who then changed it to this option. If you want to proceed with changing your check digits to match exactly what I have, you must back up all your data. Please keep in mind this is your decision, I am only stating what I did.

Ok, I changed both DDM and PDM to those numbers. 8000 4B and 8000 4C for 740-03-01 and 741-03-01….and it still wouldn't work. So I copied the as built data (everyline) from a 2018 XLT that had everything but the 360 camera’s. Now they work, the codes on those lines were 8840 13 and 8840 14. However, just changing 740-03-01 and 741-03-01 to those number wouldnt work. But It did after I copied all the as-built data from that XLT.

thanks again for your help.

I'm so glad it worked out for you. I too invested in hardware wondering where it would all lead to. As with you, it's nice to see a story that ends well! Also, I had my skull caps painted white to match the truck-just a final touch!
