Adding rearview camera and PowerFold mirrors to a '10?
I have a 2010 Lariat CC 4x4. I bought it late in the model year to get in on the incentives and had to choose from what I could find on dealer lots. I basically ended up with the exact truck I was looking for except that it doesn't have a rearview camera. I've done some searching here and it seems that I can just buy the camera, plug it in and have a dealer reprogram the computer. Please correct me if I'm wrong. And if I've got that right, is it nearly impossible to convince a dealer to re-flash a truck that doesn't have any other issues?
Also, I noticed that you can now get PowerFold mirrors on the 2011s. Anybody know if there is a chance I could make them work on my 2010?

You can make it work, but requires a Body Control Module program update, which would likely have to be done at the dealer.

they were standard on the Platinum for 09 and 10. Even the Platinum owners that switched from the tow mirrors back to the powerfold standard mirrors had a hard time getting the powerfold feature to work. It does take additional dealer reprograming as mentioned above, and some dealers don't have a clue on how to do it.
