F550 Mirrors

I am looking to purchase a F550 and am being told by the dealer that I can not get the Stainless Steel West Coast style mirrors (such as is used on the F650 and larger)unless I order five vehicles or more under a Fleet purchase account, this is rediculous. I find the Telescopeing mirrors to be terrible, they do not allow one to see the top of a cube body without continuously adjusting the mirror. Furthermore, one can not mount "real" spot mirrors on the telescoping units as there is insufficient support. Does anyone know how I can buy a F550 with West Coast style mirrors?

Not an answer to the Q. If you have to buy the F550 w/extended mirrors and have to find an after market mirror I would be interested in buying the extended mirrors. tscaud@route66web.com
