Thanks again - you guys certainly know your stuff!
Will send a picture after get home from work. Was under it yesterday and had thought there was a stack of ten leafs on the rear and seven up front. Noted there is a separate stack of four leafs above the stack of ten in the rear. Looks like that 4-stack was an 'auxilliary' option for F350 and above.
Would this likely be at least part of the 'DSO' (axle code blank)?
That horn ring was cast in 1960, probably for a 61 ford. Definitely could not have been added to your 11-58 assembled truck in 1959
Looking at the tag for the rear axle you know it has a locker anyway as they call for a different lube (hence the word "only")
Thanks NumberDummy - really is amazing the information y'all have.
Leads to a question. When a part is referenced in the service manual, are they relatively easy to cross reference and correctly identify for an amateur like me?

Been a long eight years! Did not do any 'process' posting, but:
- Replaced engine with similar orig. crate 292 (SandJ Engines)
- Added an AOD (Jegs) using adapter from Speed Gems
- Total underbody replacement, and cab corners, inside step, etc. Paint. All from 'Screemin Dreams (Mt.Vernon, MO)
- New glass - 'green tint' (hope it was available OEM at the time)
- Believe it is completely stock, except for trans (kept orig Cruise-O-Matic), and radiator (have orig). Also added elec.fuel pump and Pertronix. Remounted power steering fluid reservoir to side (orig right above engine!).
- Need to get hood emblems painted, and get 'original' rear bumper/tailgate color. Colonial or Wimbledon - cant remember which!
- Greatly added to the bottom line of LMC Truck
- We did (almost) get a picture of it
in the Birthplace of Route 66 Parade in Springfield, MO....

Well that all looks great. A lot of time and effort to get it to that point. I enjoy the original dog dish hubcaps. Glad you tried to maintain as much originality as you did.
Glad to see your rare F 250 being shown, these once very popular vehicles are very under represented. Here are some reference items for the way your interior should look like, and your grill when new had black trim paint to distinguish the horizontal lines.
Gloss black wheels are correct for '59 F 250
