You can sometimes improve the ride if you jack it up by the frame, let the axles hang down and lube between the leaves

Thanks WB will try that. Its pretty good for a 3/4 as it is. This is my 3rd one over the years - had a great '67 wood truck - then a great 74 with a not-so-great 360 in it. Should have kept that one put a 390 in it. Think will keep this one!

COLOR code E: Colonial White = 1956/59 trucks.

COLOR code M: Corinthian White = 1960/63 trucks & 1961/63 Econolines // Wimbledon White = 1964/79 Trucks/Econolines & 1966/79 Bronco's.

Where'd your buy your bumper? I'm planning on replacing the front bumper on my truck, too. It really does make a difference in the 'face' of the truck. Thanks.

Hello! Got bumper at LMC - the 'premium' one. Best deal as far as my research went considering shipping cost and all. Still pondering the rear bumper. I think the one on it is orig. (which is what Im trying to do as best I can). Decided to paint it (code E!).

My front is a '53-'56 bumper painted black. The rear is a dealer installed piece stamped with the dealer name on the left and a small town in Arkansas where it was apparently purchased on the right. That one will get a coat or two white, like yours and stay on the truck. The front get a 'new' chrome. I've looked at bumpers in 3 catalogs so far.

I've owned and driven at least 50 bump and dent sides, many new ones. I loved the bumps, too much crappy plastic on the dents, but I like the 57-60s better and may not ever own another bump or dent (never say never though, right) That truck of yours is a keeper. It would be my daily driver.

You have a nice truck. with all the options I am surprised to not see a radio!?! Not too sure about that gold paint on the instrument panel though. Good to see original wheels and dog dish caps on a truck these days.
