how low is your truck?

...thank you all.

Another question... i forgot to measure the groundclearance before i put the Truck apart.
How much groundclearance has your Trucks at the front frame rails?
I´m excited how much lower mine is with the IFS.

I'm using a Corvette front end but will have about 5-6" to bottom of the frame rails at the bumper. Bumper will be about 4-5" if I remember right. Low is good, easier to get out of the truck.

here you get some shots of the panhard bar...

This is one more reason for the No Limit 4 link... i wanted the long panhard bar.

...i guess when the bed fenders etc. are mounted, the panhard bar will be almost level.
Also i have room for height "adjusting"

Ok i "lowered" the Truck today :-)

Without drivetrain i had 9 1/2" at the lower frame rails to the ground. With drivetrain i have 7" now.
So it seems my springs ar too soft. There is not a lot of suspension travel right now and when everything is completed it will be less.
I guess i have to look for springs with higher rate.

Thanks Jason,

next step is to weld the baffles into the oilpan, than i can paint it and finally put together with oilpump etc.
Than i have to built a longer driveshaft.
Since the Engine is way stronger, what do you guys think... shall i take the larger 1330 Yoke with the bigger cap U-Joints?
