...because of it´s weight i tried to set the Big Block as low and back as possible.

But i had to move it up and forward compared to where it sat before the swap.

That old Engine need an overhaul.

So in the meantime i decided to buy a new one, which i ordered, for a better weight distribution, with aluminium heads and manifold, this safes about 120 pounds on the frontend. (not to mention the performance upgrade )
yes i guess that will bring a broad grin in my face at the first ride...

...it seems we´re getting closer to a "build thread".
since almost everything is apart now i decided this is a good time to wire the whole truck new.
So i ordered a bunch of wires and a haywire TA Panel...

we will see...

I have never seen it done before.

You have done an amazing job of fitting it all in there.

The others that I have seen, used an extension shaft for the oil pump, and a rear (mid) sump pan.

I think yours is very cool!

I like how you've done the notch above the rear axle. Good job and thanks for sharing Ingo.

how low is your truck?

...thank you all.

Another question... i forgot to measure the groundclearance before i put the Truck apart.
How much groundclearance has your Trucks at the front frame rails?
I´m excited how much lower mine is with the IFS.

From: Kemptville, ON,
I'm using a Corvette front end but will have about 5-6" to bottom of the frame rails at the bumper. Bumper will be about 4-5" if I remember right. Low is good, easier to get out of the truck.
