Will do sir, I was trying to decide between The HID Factory H13 kit and the Xenon Depot H13 kit. I personally went with the Xenon Depot kit for multiple reasons. They use Phillips LEDs, flat led chips rather than domed, clockable base, anodized copper heat sink rather than a fan, and I've read great things about thier customer service. It just seems like they really focused on chip type, board type, bulb length, led position, etc. to get the best optics possible in halogen housings. The only reason I hadnt pulled the trigger on led bulbs yet was because I personally had not found any that you could adjust the base on to get the right pattern. Since the Xtreme's do, I felt better dropping the coin. I will definitely do an honest report on their performance once I get them in.

Please post a few pictures and comment on the installation process too. Before and after beam shots.

Well I think you guys have convinced me to go LED over just the Philips bulb upgrade, its only a few dollars more and they will probably last longer

I'm also curious about the can bus choice. I don't want any lamp-out warnings or error codes, and I'm concerned that buying LEDs without can bus might do that. When I bought my 2014 used, the dealership I bought it from had removed aftermarket HID headlights from the truck because they were throwing a code. That is what's making me wonder.

I have no codes or warnings due to LED's in my heads, fogs or reverse light sockets.

There is an option that can be changed with Forscan that turns off the lamp-out warning when using LED's. If you don't want to go that route, your local Ford dealership can do it too, but for a cost. I see no reason to buy the CAN-bus module

Oh well

Over the weekend I had emailed Xenon Depot about whether or not I needed the canbus modules. I ended up ordering the kit without the canbus modules based on cangim saying he had the kit without the modules for 2 years. Of course, Xenon Depot gets back to me today saying that I DO need them for the 2016 250. I may just have the BCM reprogrammed like people have said in this thread and call it good.

update: Xenon Depot replied to me a second time saying that the H13 Led kit is backordered but expected to be in this Friday AND that they included the CANBUS modules free of charge for when the order ships. Great customer service!

Let me know how it goes 09f250v10....

I'm doing my research as well. Right now more focused on getting a traction aid for tires though since this is turning out to be a real winter.

There are probably a hundred different LED retrofits, maybe more. Did you try all of them or just one particular brand?
