That`s about my speed too John, one day of work then three days to recover.....more when it`s hot out.
I need all the motivational help I can get Steve, I think it went down the toilet a few yrs ago.
Taking pictures is a good idea John, easy to do with my phone.
Here`s a few pictures of the other box that I`m thinking of using.
The fenders are higher up on the sides like you said John, are they the same fenders as the 53? Is it worth the bother of re-drilling the holes lower then re-filling the old holes? I guess I`ll know once I put this box on the 53.
Thanks Steve, I really like those lights too. I think they`re from 56 and up Ford trucks. My stock 53 has them too.
Time to hit the hay, have a good evening Steve...what`s left of it.

Same fenders Morris but I thought they sat lower on the later models. Moving the holes would be a real chore and the holes are square too so after you drill them out you need to get busy with a file. Filling the old holes could end up warping the side panels from the heat. Compare the hole placement with your other 53...
Hello John, Grant, Steve, Shaun, Perry and all who lurk here.
I think that the fenders actually sit about about inch and a half higher on the later yrs. I get your point about the hassle of moving them so I`ll see if it`s not too weird if left as is.
