replacing tent poles does not happen too often. Usually only when one cracks, or rots or is otherwise damaged. Each tent is different so each set of poles is pretty much custom made for each tent. The poles I have to make are actually for a brand new tent.

As long as there aren`t too many poles and you don`t have to do it very often then it`s manageable.
I got a 50 foot hose for my pressure washer which sucks in a way, it`s a lot bulkier and heavier than the 25 foot one that came with my pressure washer.

It is a custom colour Steve. It is a grey with a very slight touch of blue in it. Morris for teh standard privates tents it is 1 ridge pole and 2 uprights for the ridge pole. For a marquee tent it is 1 ridge pole and 2 uprights. Teh wall tents are where you have alot of poles. The wall tent I have has about 10 perimeter poles which are 2"x2" and 4'2" tall. 1 ridge pole at 2"x4" that is cut to a certain shape and that is 11'5" long, and 2 uprights for that ridge pole that are 2"x2" and 8' tall.

Well luckily I only have to make poles for one wall tent which is brand new as well as the tensioners, and ropes. And paint the tensioners and poles.

All of the other poles are in good shape except for a bit of touch up painting.

The original 25 ft pressure washer hose developed a leak in it or else I`d be tempted to go back to it Steve.
Too bad the tent poles couldn`t be made of steel, that should last a lot longer then wood Shaun.
I never turn down free help either John, especially when it happens at the right time.

No Steve. Just one needs new poles. A few poles we need to do a bit of spot painting on. Just a tiny bit of paint on a few other poles. Although the tents that the poles that need touch up painting done need to be replaced with new tents. But that is an expensive.

I know it would be but those poles would be really heavy for reenacting use.it is bad enough we use canvas tents which already weigh alot.
