Hard to say how much rain we had as it was so sporadic and we get a lot of cloud movement with the mountain winds, am guessing at 3/4" .Am doing a lot of weird jobs out back today in order to get prepared for a season of yard sales, will take pictures when its all setup. Next month building a shed and moving the back fence plus redoing my alley gates are on the schedule then I get to rearrange the stuff in the yard so that I'll have a yard . This is going to be a long summer.
Its a cloudy day so that should help the grass seed catch as the yard won't get dried out during the day, I don't like watering the only for it to be dry an hour later . Hope the neighbors don't mind but its going to be 6" high before it gets cut again. Starting a paver stone job today so that won't be much fun.
Lawn is wet and all the wild life has food and when the coffee is done I'm out of here. ...TTYL
God was missing for six days. Eventually, Michael, the archangel, found him, resting on the seventh day. He inquired, "Where have you been?" God smiled deeply and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "Look, Michael. Look what I've made." Archangel Michael looked puzzled, and said, "What is it?" "It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put life on it. I'm going tocall it Earth and it's going to be a place to test balance." "Balance?" inquired Michael, "I'm still confused." God explained, pointing to different parts of earth. "For example, northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth, while southern Europe is going to be poor. Over here I've placed a continentof white people, and over there is a continent of black people. Balance in all things." God continued pointing to different countries. "This one will beextremely hot, while this one will be very cold and covered in ice." The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a land areaand said, "What's that one?" "That's Saskatchewan, the most glorious place on earth. Thereare beautiful rivers and streams, lakes, forests, hills, and plains. The people from Saskatchewan are going to be handsome, modest, intelligent, and humorous, and they are going to travel theworld. They will be extremely sociable, hardworking, high achieving, dependable, and producers of products to feed the world." Michael gasped in wonder and admiration, but then asked, "But whatabout balance, God? You said there would be balance." God smiled, "There's Quebec and Ottawa. Wait till you see theidiots I put there."
A hat plus lots of sun screen will be a must this week John. With this heat there is a good chance of thunder storms.
How did your day go Steve?
Sounds like you had a real busy day Perry.
That`s a good one about Saskatchewan I haven`t heard before Grant.
Hi Steve, did you get a bit of a deal on a new washer at work? Our`s has been going for so long I can`t remember buying it, the dryer is about 5 yrs old as I got a smoking deal on a new one. I bought it because of the price even tho I didn`t need another one.
It was pretty warm here so after my yearly physical check up and some other errands I relaxed, tomorrow is I have more Bobcat work.
