1,500 gpm is pretty impressive Shaun! My deep well pump does about 1,000 gallons an hr. and my 2'' Honda water pump does about 100 gallons a minute.

These pumps are just for the sprinkler systems in a few buildings Morris. We have had issues before in the winter with sprinkler pipes freezing and bursting. The first time it happened a few years ago it took 20 minutes to shut everything down. So we put 20,000 gallons of water into a building. We had to make sure there wasnt an active fire first.

That sounds like a real disaster, that must have been quite the clean up!

It was Morris. Had to call in everyone for that one since it happened after hours. Most of those guys did not leave until around 3 in the morning after being called in at 7pm.

Good near evening

Spent the day chasing product numbers and getting the prices on some of the auction gold that I picked up, figured that if something is new in the box its worth 50c on the dollar in my paws and if that's not good enough of a deal they can go to the parts store.

My Dr froze a spot under my big toe last week and on Thursday I blistered it pretty good so I've been off the foot since that night but have no choice but to do some work tomorrow as this project is taking far to long and there's 2 jobs stacking up. Its a ladder day tomorrow if I like it or not.

It maybe some extra work but hopefully it`s worth it Perry. That sounds sore, I hate foot blisters.

At least now I know what these parts are worth and what cars they fit, some of these brake pads can be used on up to 30 or so vehicles as in the case of the older GM and Dodge pieces. There's a mechanical fuel pump that can be used on most GM 4.1 and 4.8 liter motors. The electrical and electronic pieces are the easiest to figure out and price.

On the electronics its really easy but on auto parts its a pita as the part manufacturers have their part number but the parts sellers have their own part numbers and you need to get back to the master number to find out all the vehicles you can use the parts on. I store some part numbers so that it's easier for me to find parts when I go online. Its easier to walk in and name the part plus give the catalog number than describe the vehicle and watch the guy go chase it in the computer.

Hello Shaun, it`s in the low 70`s °F which is my ideal temperature for yard work. How`s the clean up from the area flood coming along?

The cleanup is still ongoing in the region Morris. It will take months to fully clean it all up.

No doubt something of that scale will Shaun, any idea of the total damage costs?

Nothing yet Morris. But I figure it will be in the millions if not hundreds of millions of dollars. One business owner already said she is facing a debt of 700,000 dollars because of the loss caused by the flood. Also have to figure in the cost to repair all of the infrastructure that has been damaged.
