Hello Steve, Perry, Grant, John and all who lurk here.
How`s your day going Steve?
Good idea Perry, better than the telescope just gathering dust.
Not looking good for the Jets but maybe I`m hopping they can win the series.
We had a small shower over night and this morning but not any real moisture John.
We're getting a light cool shower right now and it's greening everything up so the neighborhood is really starting to look nice. Got a S load of flowers on the front of this place and should know what they are by next week, I've got awnings that'll need washing so as to make the house look more presentable. Going to leave in an hour to pick up my auction winnings and pick up the geese that I bought. Hope you get this rain Morris as it's a cool light and steady one.
So, this what my $100 trip to the auction looks like
Plus a pool table, paid 2.50 for a pair of new wall vents for the customers shed so I'll bill them out at 10 each, everyone happy happy happy .
All we got was just a very light cool shower, more like a mist really and now the skies are clearing up. Both times that I was in town, this morning and just now I had the wipers on slow delay but off as I got close to my farm. So far it's greening up here too but after next week`s 31 C temps I think it`ll all be burnt to a crisp.
Congratulations on your auction winnings, it looks like it would be worth a drive to Calgary to take in this auction some day.
I forgot about these and only remembered that they were behind the seat on the way back from the mailbox. There was no one at the auction last night due to the hockey game. Hope these birds don't get the house all shot up.
There's some weeks John when it seems like we're shopping at the HBC store as the bids get so high. For someone like myself that goes almost every week its just a matter of being there at the right time to snag a deal or 2.
I'm thinking of taking in some storage locker auctions but want to make sure there's a few extra $$'s around before I risk getting stuck with a load of crap. There's a yard sale that needs to be done around here so that money might go to a locker.
