There are quite a few guys do the same that live in Dryden which is another hour and a half closer to Fort Frances than me. By the time I would drive 4 hours one way I don't think I'd be saving anything...lol
Good evening folks.
Kijiji is great in our area, I don`t ever bother with the local paper which is dead.
Two more cold days for us then it warms up.

Not a lot of wind here lately but it`s bitterly cold Gerry, Perry. We get a bit of fresh snow now an then, my broom is getting lot of exercise these days.
Thanks for the heads up Bruce, rep points headed your way.

He is looking for a new one now but the one he currently has should be used in a Kubota commercial to show how tough they are. He has never abused it but it gets a work out year round.
Good to know, my tractor is just under 60'' wide so I want to have a tiller wide enough to cover the tracks.

A friend of mine uses a similar service to save money, they reship it for him to Saskatoon.
Sure was a cold one last night, -29, -40 with windchill but the deep freeze cold should be over for us this year, today may go up to -12. We're going to have a week of +5 coming on saturday.
Kijiji is pretty good here but sometimes posters want as much or more for their stuff than the store sells it for and you also have to really inspect what your buying as theres a lot of damaged wares that even the thrift stores wont touch, for sale. Depending on what your selling and where you live can result in various forms of theft and meeting people in front of a police station isn't always feasible.
Most of what I buy comes through the post, US and Canadian as it's usually the cheapest, back when i was shipping hardwood furniture south or bringing RV trailers into Canada there was always a $75 brokerage fee plus state taxes and Gst exemption paperwork involved. When bringing trailers in from NY state, I would have to get my paperwork submitted and started before 4.30pm or the brokerage would charge $125 for night processing. The paperwork and inspection usually took long enough that I could go back to Rochester and grab another trailer and be back just in time to see the K9 sticker being put in the front window of the trailer and could unhook and rehook to pull it to Hamilton.
Certainly was cold last night as well as all day here too, ground drifting was happening.
Kijiji is ok but as always you have to know prices. My idea of a bargain doesn`t involve meeting in front of a cop shop.
Sometimes the buyers and sellers are kind of shady up he, at least in front of the cop shop your some what safe. The last time I advertised I took pictures of the license plate on both the buyers? Vehicles. Now I just repond to the wanted ads when I'm selling and make sure that I'm not buying from a booster when I buy.
Its supposed to make it close to 0 today but its still -11 with a wind, up here it can warm up at night still but theres at least a week of above 0 coming
Up to -7 already, time to strap on the boots and do the mail and garbage cart/bin run. Wonder how much damage the garbage truck driver did to the bins this week. Last week one of the bins up the alley must've slipped under his tires as it was totally destroyed and in the middle of the alley, lol
