Good morning SasMan.

I have never seen a reenactment live.
Maybe someday.

Good afternoon folks

Just cold here today as yesterday but there is warmth at the end of the tunnel.

Have fun with the fencing Grant, kind of glad i'm not doing it in this weather.

There were a bunch of military miniatures at the auction last wednesday and theres more this next week, still trying to figure out what they are worth. Do you or your reenactors ever come across these things Shaun.

Today is build a build up table in the garage day so that'll keep me cold and busy.

Still to cold up hereto work outside for very long but at least I'm getting the snow moved. Have lots to do inside anyway so there won't be any boredom around here. Tomorrow it starts to warm up and its supposed to reach + temperatures by the end of the week. When the highs are -10 or worse it shuts me down for doing long term outside work.

Any snow is real Grant, real miserable Complete white out here today and it's adding up very quickly...

Was to cold to do much serious work outside so the shovel got pushed a bit and a gate latch got installed on the swing gate. Decided to strip and sand down the top of the bottom piece of this cabinet due to the scratches in it and now its going to be seen as a counter top, have it stained and will put a low gloss sealer coat on it before I call it a night. Tomorrow night I'll put on a heavy coat of low gloss on it and will take some 600 grit to it 48 hours later to cut it back and level it, then comes some high gloss on it the next day. The extra drying times will lead to a harder finish. If you can bring body work to being paint ready, you can refinish furniture.

We got at least 4 inches of snow yesterday. Got to dig out the winter clothing. Sun is shining bright this morning.
