Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got home just long enough ago to get a hot shower, some hot food and I'm now finishing a "sleeping potion" that is good for sleep and sore muscles.
Think most of the animals were weathering out the storm in heavy timber and brush in a canyon we did not visit today. We found some rabbit tracks, mouse tracks, bird tracks and a half dozen deer tracks. Not counting birds and one especially noisy raven who had nothing better to do than follow us around and "tell" on us.
After most of the day and 6+ miles that felt like 25, we got back to the rigs and decided to spend the last hour road hunting with a warm heater and hot coffee.
I think that last hour of road hunting was a wise choice, Jim
We had a slight reprieve here......no snow and the sun came out for most of the day, although it barely got above freezing.......sure felt good tho it's 15 and dropping now
I can usually get it back down to a decent rate, but they only lock it in for a year, so I have to renegotiate after it runs out. We don't even have TV. Just internet, Netflix, and a FireStick.

We don't pay for cable either. But just in case you didn't know, Petersen Butte is the digital antenna transmitter location, I get lots of channels for free with our digital antenna. I'm out North of Corvallis, so you should get great signal in Tangent.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. A cold, but nice sunny day for a "nature" hike in the woods.
I'm certain I won't need any "sleep potion" tonight. Just a hot toddy for the body.
