Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Ended up having to make the 16/17 mile one way trip to town and Les Schwab Tires. Ended up with a new set of Toyo Eclipse tires. I will have to admit, the trip home on the snow and ice was a lot different than the trip into town. Pretty impressed so far with these tires.
Got quite a bit of entertainment on the way to town and on the way home too!. Highways can be quite the entertaining place, as long as you are not a part of the show.
25° outside and a nice blanket of snow. No freezing rain yet and nothing more showing on the Radar for the moment.....

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 32 here at 196', but just up the mountain from me at 2000' it's 36°. We are getting both warm rain and frozen rain here, but seems to be changing to mostly warm rain now. Hasn't taken the ice or snow off of the vehicles or ground yet. Still have a few icicles hanging from the gutters.
Frozen rain finally hit here around midnight. Became an ice skating rink out there.

Talking on the phone with hunting partner. We are going to stay home until the freezing rain is done doing its thing.. He had to use 4wd just to get out of his driveway, and at my place, I need 4wd to get from the front steps to the driveway.
