So my truck arrived in Benicia almost 2 weeks ago and still no movement. According to the dealer the truck is still stuck on a train holding somewhere while they try to fix all the issues from the rain and get rid of all the damaged cars. You would think they would want these trucks off the train ASAP as the railroad has to be losing a ton of money!!
Just got a call 1hr ago from my dealer that the trucking company just called and asked if there would be someone there to receive a truck around 10:00 pm tonight dealer said it has to be my truck it's the only one there waiting on right now!!!!
I thought this crowd would enjoy this. Finally after checking multiple times daily the status of my Jack Cooper Transport page updated. See photo, it appears it took 7 weeks for my truck to go from KTP to JCT @ KTP's parking lot. Ford really needs to get this crap straightened out.... But I'm really hoping since there is some update, it might mean my dealer is actually trying to pick it up themselves. Recall, I'm only 60 miles from KTP.
I dont know what GFX is or means... Any ideas?
After i posted this yesterday i was on Ford chat to request and see if the ETA had updated to match this info.. Nothing... ETA was still unknown.
Then about 3 hours after that chat, I got a message from my dealer. Truck showed up! It was delivered from JCT. So excited to finally see my truck sitting at the dealer! Too bad I'm out of the country for the next 4 weeks... but the wife will go pick it up this week.
Moral of the story... Trust the JCT website... and if your truck is stuck "Awaiting Shipment" don't believe all the regional managers when they say quality holds.... Call Jack Cooper and see if they can help..
From one ky boy to another I assume. Nice looking truck, glad you finally got it. Mine is supposed to be here next week, can't wait
Yea, im down in south central KY. Thanks, i can't wait to see the truck in person.
I hope for your sake, you dealer has 3 of these trucks ordered... or else it may end up like mine sitting in Louisville for 7 weeks waiting on a load coming my way.
Im in western ky my dealer sells a lot of trucks and is a personal friend, and has been getting his trucks mostly on time. Glad u got your can't wait to get mine.
