I looked at the screen with him(should have taken a pic) but it showed that it was a protected offer. I am not counting on it right now so if I get it then it is a bonus. I do not want to do the paperwork early incase there is another long delay with the truck.

I have this fear that there are hundreds of "stop ship" trucks that they have no idea how to repair, thus the constantly shifting ETA's. If it is the low oil pressure fail from post 24, that could be a major undertaking to fix.

Yesterday I went out on a limb and completed the purchase. X-plan +1000+750. Payments deferred for 90 days, lower payment including Gap and life coverage. I get to keep driving my old truck and just swap keys when it arrives 😉😓 Fingers crossed...

So my truck, built 12/3, went from "Awaiting Shipment" with an ETA of 01/17 to "In Transit" with no ETA.
Any idea why the ETA would disappear? Is there anyway to see if the truck is actually on a train moving, or just in limbo like they have been? I tried the dealer and they had nothing more than chat.
Just like everyone else, getting frustrated by the constant delays and lack of information!!

I just checked mine on Ford Chat and they said it is in Transit with No ETA. At this point I am just glad it is "In Transit". But then again, who knows if that info is accurate. I figure I will contact my dealer tomorrow to have them track down the truck for more reliable info.

That's my thing - What does "In Transit" mean to Ford? Is it actually on a Rail Car moving this way, or is it in limbo somewhere. Can't imagine the ETA going away is a good thing!

All I know is since 12/10 mine was "Awaiting Shipment" and had an ETA of 12/31, then when I checked on 12/24 they said the ETA was 1/18. So at this point "In Transit" is a step in the right direction. I am merely trying to stay positive since I am also frustrated with waiting.

Chat just informed me that my 12/3 build now has an ETA of 1/27... This is getting ridiculous. Especially being a 9 hr drive away. The thought of cancellation is in the pit of my stomach. The oil pump issue cuts off on builds before 11/30.

Hang in there, my build date was 12/2 and mine has been several different ETA's. I'm not even sure if my current status I got today is correct, but definitely good to know about the oil pump. But in all honesty, 11/30 is still way too close to 12/2 on my build date. Checked ETIS and nothing is showing up as far as recalls. So I am keeping fingers crossed.
