Emailed my dealer yesterday for status and to escalate the delay. He responded today that the plant is closed until Jan 2nd. Looks like I'll be waiting another week and and a half for them to tell me my truck is awaiting shippment...Happy New Year!
Just talked with chat. My new ETA is 18 Jan. Bumped by 4 weeks. No reason why.. I guess a possibility is no rail cars to ship on. I have seen wher RR are off for a long holiday weekend, I guess that could be two with NYs coming. Maybe that along with some of the weather has caused a shortage of rail cars for transport. It seems like a lot of us are on the same slow ship from KFP in Louisville. Keep rowing and we'll get to shore, maybe next year..
My ETA has been updated to 01/20 (was 12/18). Truck was built on 12/04. I made it thru production without a hitch only to get stuck on the way out the door.
My dealer spoke to his Reginal sales manager and he told him fords goal was to ship out all trucks that are on hold out by the end of the year. We will see
Chat will no longer tell you if your truck has shipped or not . I get the same canned response when I ask about the info being proprietary.
But my ETA from chat last week was 1/14/17 and today it has changed to 1/05/17. I find that hard to believe since the build date was 12/22/16 and all the delays that I have seen on here.
My build date was 12/2/2016 and the truck was "Awaiting Shipment" since 12/10. I checked in on the 16th and they gave me an ETA of 12/31. I checked back in on the 23rd and they bumped my ETA to 1/18. I haven't checked back in to see what it is now since I am tired of seeing the date getting bumped. My main reason for being impatient is I sold my 2006 F350 a couple weeks ago expecting 12/31. I should have known better.

Reason: typos
My dealer just confirmed that his system shows my truck still at the Kentucky plant. The first truck I ordered that had a color mix up is scheduled for 1/02/17 but it is still showing at the plant too.
Mine does also. I am curious if we can get them to still honor it.
I just got off the phone with my dealer and was told it was still at the ramp in KY. Not assigned a rail car number yet. I said that's not good as I my $750 bonus Cash expires 12/31.. He said we could do the paperwork at the 31st and lock it in. I don't know with my trade in and all.

That's an interesting idea. I may talk to my dealer about that.
