November talking turkey BS thread
I leave for a few days and the place blows up with posts!
We're back from the Hall of Fame induction banquet. It was a great time, but not long enough. I didn't get to talk to everyone that I wanted to, but I did talk with a quite a few guys. I was invited back to the Bigfoot open house in April next year, and rumor has it they want to do an old school car crush for the event.
I also met my videographer for the record attempt. He seems like a pretty cool guy. I finally met Terry Woodcock in person. (he's the guy that had the first Earthquake monster truck and gave me permission to continue using the name.) He was also one of the inductees this year. I met and talked to Everett Jasmer, (USA-1) and a bunch of other guys. It was a great weekend. ...but back to reality today. I got back on sanding and priming the Chevy truck I was working on before I left. I got a good chunk of it done today. I hope to have it wrapped up this week. Two more wrecks got dropped off. Bambi is keeping me busy. I should have the money to buy Wild Hair in a week or two.
That's about it. Just checking in. It looks like everyone is keeping busy.
Not sure if I've showed it off here, but some of the guys on spacebook have seen my old toy. It's been a pleasure to use it going back and forth from the house and the stand.

Original 1973 Kawasaki G5 100cc 2 stroke. My grandpa bought it new in 73. Dad found the title for it last year. Fun little scooter, and yes, it's street legal. Just need insurance and tags.

i hope you can stay busy enough alan.. although i dont think that would be a problem
Got the heater box and grill mostly painted .
Now the waiting game of waiting on parts.
Rich...has anyone used a different tank fuel hose on this site that worked? Not the filler hose the one that attaches to the tank...
The reason I ask is because they ate on back order and wondering if someone has used a O'Reillys off the shelf hose so I can put this tank back on?
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Yes, the old Wild Hair monster truck should be at the shop in the next week or two.
Congrats Alan on everything.
Jeff Have you tried these guys? 1974 1975 1976 1977 1978 F150 F250 Fuel Tank Fill Hose D5TZ9047D

"D5TZ9047B was only used with the aft axle tank, and only when Evap Emission is present. AFAIK, no autoparts store carries a similar hose, which has been obsolete from Ford for 15 years."
I did not see one on O'Reilleys site that is for our rigs. Do not know of a alternate part # that would work. Take yours in to them and see if they can match up. Just make sure you get fuel grade hose.
RC fly safe into the lions den, and carry a big stick to wack'm. lol
On seckond thought maybe you shouldn't ware something that says Sparta MO Police .
