I finally got my compressor broken down only to discover that, once again, it broke one of the cheapie aluminum connecting rods. I'm not really interested in spending another $120 on parts that are only going to fail again or just pony up the money to get me a HF 2 stage compressor...
Got a paying job in the driveway. Alex's best friend's clutch is metal to metal and now in my yard. by the way things were grinding - it's going to need a new flywheel along with the clutch set. Not sure when I'm going to start on it until he talks with his dad about what route he wants to go with the parts. He can buy locally or have me order them - either way its OK with me. Not even going to start until I have parts to install.

i drove the bronco all day . then it started acting up every now and then, just dont want to idle sometimes.. i think i may pull the IAC and clean it and check a few other things.. i need to get it somewhere and see what codes are stored..the check engine light came on and wont go out..... i also need to see if i can get the old T.V. cable to operate the kick down on the C6 correctly.. i had to unhook it today because it was shifting late .. does great with the cable disconnected..
RC, I've got a Ford OBD I reader. It's. Yours if you want it. It's just collecting dust in my garage.
About the only thing I've accomplished today is replacing the washer pump on the Neon and dropped the old hitch out from under Big Green. The new one is sitting in the living room since it didn't get here until after dark. Hopefully it goes in as easy as the old one came out.
