Good day to all the lurk here.
Grading and digging is easy work for a Bobcat if there is room to do it Perry.
Hello John, how are things in Ont. Today?
The biggest thing I'd be able to get into this part of the yard would be one of those walk behind mini bobcats. Shovel is faster, yards almost done for this year, by Nov 15 I'll be working in the shop on truck and I'll be much happier. This working 5 - 6 hours a day makes for a long job.
That must be a bit different, glad I'm not doing it. Going the whole HVAC route?
Looks like we're in for some crap tonight but it's not supposed to be to bad
Been doing commercial heating and a/c for the past year and a half. Don't want to get involved with the ventilation end of it too much. My hands don't like cutting tin, or rather being cut by the tin!
Commercial is a better field to be in than residential, seen to many that could do new home construction but can't repair established homes worth squat. Same way though with a lot of trades. Actually, this last round of boom residential home construction was a total schit show, my accountants stone work is falling off her house and she had to get 2 lines from her hydro panel to the boxes grounded.
I used a machine called a Dingo years ago and it wasnt of much use, could barely scrape off the grass. It was the only thing small enough to fit in the work area, a shovel, wheel barrow and a ramp into the truck was faster. Almost got fired as ULS was renting it for $125 a day and I wasn't using it, told them to put me on another site. The guy they replaced me with caused a lot of damage to the house as he wasn't intelligent enough to use it.
Putting up a thank you for good service to the guys at Economy Automotive and Transmission on 17th ave se. These guys did me a solid, I was looking for fork boots for my np435 trans and they came through for me big time. Larry spent close to a half hour in total getting these things in for me, they also tried to chase down a 2nd gear syncro kit with the flat spring, not available in Canada. Had found it myself online in the states so thats where it'll come from. They went the extra mile as it's said and that was much appreciated.
Yeah, it felt good dealing with these guys, he must have known that I was looking for hens teeth. The only place that I could find that has this odd ball flat spring in their synchro kit is at drive train.Com. I'm waiting for verification on the kit contents before I confirm my order. $60 usd plus shipping at this point, better off going this way than chasing a used Trans that could have its own problems. Anyway these guys were Champs and that was very much appreciated as it wasn't the best of days.
