Everything I`ve heard including the Farmers Almanac points to a cold winter, that`s not what I wanted to hear.

 

Hope the mountains get above average snowfall. I know lots of folks who ski and sled, plus it helps with the water supply next spring and summer if there is a lot of snow to melt through the warm months.

 

I don't put much faith in the farmers almanac, all I no is we won't escape winter if we stay where we are..

 

All I know is that it gets darker come dusk, lighter come dawn. In spring it warms up for summer and in the autumn it cools down for winter which is a bit to cool for my liking. The longer it takes to get here the better, should return it to sender.

 

I hate winter!

 

It's been raining steady for 3 days now and hasn't stopped even for a break...,

 

That bites but still better than snow I guess.

The sun disappeared and looking like showers are coming.

 

Afternoon everyone, was a no rain day and no sun either..

 

Got up this morning and decided to take the day off, glad I did as its been cooling off since 2 and I was going to be cutting stones. Getting wet from cutting while its cooling off is a pita I can do without. Tomorrow may be a cool day but at least the temperature will be steady.

 

Best of luck tomorrow Perry. Hope the winds calm down too. Was nasty for quite a bit of today.

 

Our day here started off sunny then turned cloudy shortly after 1 pm then a light 5-10 minute shower after supper.
