Morning Fellas, how are things going this weekend? That dang Olympic park has been blasting out their snow and casting ice fog all across the city.

Good morning-clear and cold-good day to spend in the shop. Looking like i need to find a F68 parts truck for rear brake parts and exhaust manifolds for 239.

Good noon hour everybody
Weather is supposed to break next week, good news for us.
Cats are using the house for a figure 8 demolition race track, good thing we have this community mailbox as it forces the shut ins to dress up and go for that daily walk that we need no matter what. Glad I put in the walk way as it's easy to clear and it gives me a reason to head out for 15 minute sweeping excursions. Hope you and the kids are doing okay 77, no colds or flu.
Good to see your in town Jason, post if you have time for a GTG, keep the snow flying and hopefully it goes somewhere else.
Buddy Dwight in Windemere has put his black bears to sleep, rabbits are in the hole and is surrounded by the vortex but doesn't get dumped on by it, then again he can't leave the valley without driving into it.
Groundhog day can't get here soon enough Roller
That is a good looking motor 49/f68, sure would like to build a trike around one of those.

77, I went on facebook to see if there was anyone looking for me and to see if I could find school mates, decided to run a few names that needed checking and found this.

This is Wayne Cater, the junkie that's destroyed 3 of my motors by pouring water and sand down my carb during these cold spells, he hasn't been able to get his bolt cutter to the chain or lock on my hoods this year but he has cut the locks on my sheds. Be careful, he's a tough guy, comes out at 2-3 in the morning and only targets seniors, the handicapped, terminally ill, crippled and is fully protected by CPS. He's our best friend and we should be grateful for everything he's done for us, those are CPS words. He's the guy who spent 3 weeks trashing Tamara's house thanks to CPS, it's how they got even with her for having brain cancer. He hangs out at Grandpas pub and Ricky's all day Diner, also has a new partner in crime that the hood knows as the bicycle junkie.
On the 17th we do our quarterly pay it forwards community outreach and this time it's in my area, will hopefully find out exactly where he lives as he makes it a point not to show his face around here during normal hours.
Oh, I get to sit out on my neighbors yard next week and do a vehicle count and have a petition signed by the local residents in order to try to have a traffic calming feature installed on our corner, 19th ave is as busy as 17th sometimes yet it's a residential street. We also have a lot of accidents at the corner and now that the hood is cleaned up we're starting to get young families moving in, dangerous combination. It's up to a 2 year routine to get this done, but with the BRT coming in during the next 2 years we may get it put in then if we're successful.
Overall it's going pretty good but this weather has been a pita

I've been to grandpa's pub, it had a really weird vibe. Don't think I'd want to hang around there at closing time, suspect a few of those regulars like to cause trouble for sweet guys like me.

One kid is just getting over a cough, and the rest of us are healthy, well aside from the mental health I guess. Gearing up for a quieter Christmas than normal, which suits me.

I remember Grandpas from way back, way back when it was cool, even 10 years ago you could walk in with a crew and the girl would meet you at the table with a pitcher and glasses. The Bruno's crowd had to go somewhere I guess.

Gets warmer next week and a possible chinook before xmas. Cats are going stir crazy and now that I ran out of indoor projects I'm not to far behind them. Looks like theres a camera system coming for xmas, will be a week belated but it's coming, still trying to find 4 cameras that can take -40, or at least 2 for now.
