Hello all, and welcome to the 8th month of the year. I know everyone has their Christmas shopping done by now, so I won't even ask.

Define "cool" in your world... We topped out at 74° yesterday. I call that comfortable.

Reminds me of when I was teaching the Navy Sea Cadets how to shoot muzzleloaders in Hat Creek, the other day. Many were from the Bay, and after camping in Hat Creek for a few days, they knew what real heat was!!

Man. I think I know what real heat is. I spent a year in Inyo Kern one day. It was 117 in the shade, and I though I was going to die...

117 in the shade, but you forgot the punch line. No shade.

Well, just got into the office. The outside temp is currently 67*F and headed for 104*F today. Just looking forward to a mellow rest of the week.
