Deja vu.... Well, last week it was the 6 year old grand daughter who visited the ER, this week it was her mother. Ended up taking her to the ER last night around 5:30-6:00pm for intense back pain. Got home around midnight. They gave her some meds and did an ultrasound. She is pregnant with her 6th child. And they had to give her something that will not affect the baby. Unfortunately, the patches they prescribed might not be covered by her insurance. They did give her Norco last night with Tylenol, and said that should be okay as long as she does not take too many per day.
Other than that, my weekend is starting out just fine. LOL Oh, and the property management company called as we were arriving at the ER, and they stated they could still keep me in this apartment but I was unable to talk at the time so they will call on Monday. I also have a 9am appointment with my SPC (Shelter Plus Care) case worker on Monday to help get me into a new place. Don't know if I am going or staying now. But nothing will happen until Monday so no sense worrying about it.
I would suspect that if we did get rain in the summer, there would be quite a bit of lightning. Don't need any more fires, but if it rained hard enough, it would put out any that were started.
Good luck modoc , try not to give them Nurses a hard time, they get back at you at the worse times, well we had a little cloud burst last night , it rained for a good 1/2 hour , didn't expect that so did the weather guessers , it was support to be in the higher elevations, ( not complaining) just glad I didn't have anything needing covered .
I saw somebody's home burn down this morning. Engines were there and the fire was about out when I saw it. I feel so incredibly awful for those people.
I know the feeling. I saw a little video of the devastation in Louisianan today. Heartbreaking.
On a lighter note, on the way back from the VA hospital, I saw an older gentleman outside his garage, and the garage door was open and inside it were Thunderbirds exactly like mine save for the colors. One was white, the other a light brown/copper color. I guess one is his, and one is hers. LOL
