It sounds like you made out alright on the deal which is the main thing...
I think we did pretty well. Newer truck, some money down, and dropped our payments over $30 a month. And some cash left over to put tires on the wife's 08 Excape, and get my exhaust on the newer truck, running boards, pin stripe, too.
I got a Facebook ban for 3 days yesterday, called a guy a ******* and he reported me. So I'm in facebook jail.... I got a pretty good laugh out of it anyways.

We are officially finished with the insurance company. They paid the truck off this afternoon, and we have a check for the difference.
Now back out to Charolette tomorrow to refinance for a better rate and payment.
Bob,
Truck looks good. Can't wait to see if after you've washed and waxed it. Just let me know when you are going to do that, I'll drop Lucille off and you can hit her with a layer of wax as well!
Don't forget everyone, we have the Mud Race next weekend (Saturday the 13th), but after that I'm thinking of putting together a little cookout, basicly bribe everybody with food to come and prep the 1 ton for painting. Sure bet the sanding\bondo\patching will go much faster with 3 or 4 sets of hands on it. And don't worry, there is some AC in the shop!
looks like not i get to work after work today.. the stupid c-clip that holds the ujoint together came off somewhere on the way into work.. so now i get the fun of Macgyvering the axle back together to get it home..

Which C-clip, and how long has it been since it's been apart? I've never known a C-clip to just take off unless it was recently worked on or there is another issue.

Good luck with that, but I don't blame you for asking. Back from finishing up the paperwork on the new, used truck. It's officially ours, and we did end up lowering our payments almost a full $40 a month, and insurance went up $35 every 3 months.
I have an appointment for this next Thursday morning at the Carmax in Raleigh for a complete detail, and to get the stereo checked out. It just sounds "Tinny". I've lowered the Treble, Mid Range, and cranked up the Bass, and near nothing. It sounds like a big AM radio. And repairs are covered 100% for the next 30 days with a $0 deductable, so it's their baby.
I've snagged two slabs of baby back's that are already covered in a good dry rub, and will go in the smoker tomorrow, while I'm putting my Flowmaster on the new truck. And I have an appointment for this Friday morning to get the exhaust finished.
Now I'm pricing new tires for Shari's 08 Escape, and a lifetime alignment.
