Going to be 92 here today, if the weather guesser get it right. Going to stay indoors most of the weekend, as the temps will steadily increase to over a hundred all next week. Living in a valley sucks in the summer time...
No rain here today, not sure how hot it is as I never left the apartment. LOL
On a side note, last night before going to bed, I sprayed the entire recliner, and surrounding carpet with the Raid ant and roach can I keep in the bathroom. Didn't get a single bite from any fleas. I plan on doing that tonight too. Still going to fog the place, but it is cool that something finally worked.
Good luck on the flea-radication Jim. Temp here topped out at 78 today, and it wasn't there for long. We had to run errands in town, and when we left the valley it was 88. When we pulled into our driveway, the gauge on the dash said 70. 18 degrees is a lot of relief!
Yes. Looks like it will be a sunny Sunday! We're planning on a get together with friends, and last I heard it will be slightly cooler than yesterday. Watch out for Monday, and Tuesday is gonna be a cooker.
Woke up this morning to sunny skies, good day to finish my patio door replacement. There's been a big hole in my bedroom wall where I took the old door out and had to stop to do some water damage repairs... Took down the plywood that was blocking the hole and got the new door in, then, within 1/2 hour, came a thunderstorm with rain. Whew, dodged that bullet. When I realized it was raining I ran out to save my skill saw. It's soaked. Oh well, hopefully it drys out ok.
I second that. Let's not forget why we created this day of remembrance. I for sure am grateful that we live here.
Hope everyone has a lemonade, mint julep, or other cool beverage of choice. Looks like the heat is on, but they changed the peak to Friday (from Tuesday).
