happy freaky Friday North California! Wind has been whippin' all night long. Looks like another round of rain too. Never know what's next.

 

Looks more like a wet weekend here. Breezy and cool with plenty of clouds right now. Jr is doing better, but school won't let him come back until he's had 24 hours without emmesis. 😕. So here I sit doing paperwork and household chores that have stacked up since we are both working. Go play in the mud guys!

 

Glad Jr is up an around Modoc. Kinda hard to stay healthy with this wild weather this week. Cold blowing wind is about the worst.

On a happy note I hope it warms a bit so I wont freeze my a$$ off Sunday bbq`ing k-bobs.

 

I was crawling around an open crawl space yesterday, and thought I would freeze my **** off. Temps yesterday topped out at 48, and 99% humidity, and 37 MPH wind. It was like working in a wind tunnel.

Looks worse today.

 

Out of surgery and in recovery , man good thing for pain pills , the doc said only triple hernia but 3 in the left 1 in the right and 1 in the belly button, I guess out lifting the young is going to be a thing in the past, crap it Suxs getin old, one good thing I'm sleeping good just can't flip around witch adds pain in my back , hopefully by next week things will get better. Glad to see ya posting Hank got a pic of the melted connector ?

 

Crap, spent 2 days riding herd on a sick kid and now I have it. This flu is ugly.

 

Get it to you today Scott. I`ve been in a dead cell area, yes they do exist.

 

Oh man, I had a bilateral hernia repair several years ago and that was a life changer. I do still lift heavy things, though I probably shouldn't, but use a lot of care i.e. using knees etc. I used to pride myself on being a pretty tough guy, now not so much I guess.

Try benadryl at bed time to get some good sleep without having to turn over. It knocks me out and I don't think I move at all. A bit of a hang over in the morning, but once I get up and have coffee the hangover breaks off pretty quickly.

 

Dang hernias seem to be going around. We must all be over doing it. Have a great almost-sunny Sunday North California.

 

Hernia's are not fun. Don't ask me how I know.

Yeah right. Tell that to my doctor who limits me to lifting 25 lbs.

I would if I thought it would help Jim. For some reason doctors dont tend to listen to me...

 

Me either. Maybe it is all those years of schooling that makes them think they know more about the body than I do. LOL
