Don't go blowing things up Jim! One of your neighbors is probably hosting some kind of flea bag, and they're too crowded, so are "branching out"?

We now have had 4 of the last 4 days with some measurable precip. It's wet & foggy again this morning, but no precip so far.

The manager, who lives next door to me, has two small flea bags, however, I have lived here about 8 months, and only within the past month or two have had any sign of fleas. Now however, it is way beyond just one or two. I mean killing thirteen in just a 5 minute period is an infestation in my book. (

One of those spray everything and leave the house for 4 hours things. So yesterday I bought a fogger. Will try that as soon as I can, but it states no ignition sources, so I setup an appointment with PG&E to come out and turn off the pilot light. Unfortunately, the earliest they can get here is next Wednesday. I don't want to wait that long, but I also don't want to risk blowing up the apartment either....

Most effective way but costly is by blowing up fleas, ( eat mo Garlic) not only does it keep Vampiers away fleas don't like it either, maybe that's why my wife stays on her side of the room , the spray only works for live fleas still need to get the Eggs and from hatching, wash all beding, blankets over chairs, etc soaked in soap then wash, if you catch a flea drop it in a cup of soapy water and watch it drown

That's what you need, Jim.

My pest control guy gave me a can a couple years back for a tenant who was having terrible flea probs. Works like a charm.

The fogger states it is guaranteed to work, and it will keep the fleas away for seven months. It also states was bedding, and thoroughly vacuum the carpets before use. There is one of the problems, the vacuum I have is a cheap $20 unit I bought at Walmart to replace the $50 dollar unit I gave to a family I helped get off the street. It barely picks up anything. basically worthless. So next payday, I will pick up another good vacuum cleaner, and the pilot light will be off by then. I have no bedding on the recliner, but do have a small blanket laying next to it, and a pillow should it get too cold. I have not used it much obviously since the temps have picked up, However, it could be infested, so I will wash it tomorrow when I do laundry. Don't know what to do about the vacuum. I can keep using it, but I don't know if it would do any good.

Good luck with the eradication Jim.

It is 100% humidity here again this morning. We now have had 6 days in a row with measurable precip. Not exactly the thirsty Thursday I would expect on 26 May.

And yet none of it makes it's way down here.

Well hell, if it's guaranteed to work....

Do whatever you want. I'm just trying to share my experience with you on what I found that's worked. You have a problem, I was offering help.

I've been taking care of my moms rentals for 16 years. I've used the foggers and sprays and everything else, but the Nyguard spray works.

Good luck.

I have already bought the fogger. I cannot afford what u recommend at the moment as I am between paydays, however I bookmarked the page, so if the fogger does not work, I will buy it when I can.

I'll be running over to your side of the border today. Heading home to weed eat for dad. I think I'm going to try and get his new riff raff turbo intake boot on too.

Going to be 90+ here today. Don't think any rain would survive the heat.
