Happy Tuesday! Today kicks off Slack at the Redding Rodeo. Looks like I'll be tied up at work though.

Scott I`ll send some pics to your phone. Can`t figure out exactly what this is. Like to replace connector as 2 wires on top are bent (broken?) and sometimes my a/c blows warm unless I jiggle them. You`ll see

Yah. Got pretty warm here yesterday. Had to do some attic work, and it was way too warm up there.

Happy Wednesday North California!

Going to be even warmer today according to the weather channel geeks. 96 is the predicted high. I can only imagine what this summer will bring.

Man you have to do that work in the winter- in the morning!

I put a gable fan in my attic this winter. Best money I've ever spent. It has an adjustable thermostat and it comes on automatically.

IIRC don`t they come on at 130*. I put one in my last house, dang just brought back a memory. Crawling up there I got bit on lip by brown recluse and ended up in hospital. Anyway they do work great

The one I bought has an adjustable thermostat. I've got it set to come on at the recommended 105*. So far I think it's made the house 3 or 4 degrees cooler in the late afternoon.

Ooosh! I don't really like spiders and those brown recluse can be nasty.

If your fan has any adjustment at all, it would be better if it was set a lot lower. In any case, getting that hot air out of the attic makes a much more comfortable house.

Sitting here. With a sick boy. Had to collect him from school. It's supposed to cool down about 25* here over the next three days.

My memory is a bit shaky these days but I coulda swore it was pre set at 130*. 105* sounds like a way better number imo
