Howdy fellers, hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. Kitchen is aboot wrapped up, little more trim and paint....I am picking up a 302/C4 combo out of a 68 mustang this weekend to put in my 60. Recent rebuild....clean little motor. I want to have a more aggressive idle and I'm looking at a Comp cams 270h, anyone have any experience with this cam? I don't mind going high stall and gears....

Kitchen looks great. No experience with that cam, so you are on your own.

Nice work on the kitchen. Looks real good. We ordered our cabinets on Friday; they tell us it's 6 weeks before they arrive. All the sheetrock is up, but we do have to tape & paint. We're also stripping down all the popcorn ceiling. Happy Monday N. Cal.!

My AC will be on most of the week. If my bill goes up, so be it.

I kind of like my house to be the opposite extreme of the weather.

In the winter I want my house to be 74-76* and in the summer I want it to be 66-68*.

So I go through a lot of energy staying comfortable but oh well. Worth it to me. I recycle so I feel like that balances things out.

My monthly PG&E bill is usually $42-46, but I live alone, in a small 2 bedroom apartment, so it is okay. I don't remember what my PG&E bill was for the summer last year, but I do remember it was a lot lower than expected, compared to that 2 bedroom non insulated mobile home I lived in.

Sheesh... Fricken PGE. We have local power here in Ashland and it's fairly cheap. I've lived here since September and never had a power bill reach $100.

I don't mind the weather here. I just don't want my house to reflect the weather if that makes sense.

I actually love the seasons up here. And no way could I handle the people down there. I live in a town of 20,000 now and that's the big city to me...
