I thought you had a warranty with this. Did you buy a" running" engine or a builder?

Yes, seized lifters should be on the list of possibilities....however I think it is highly unlikely considering it is a direct oil pressure part, similar to your bearings on the bottom end.

Ok got things apart. Still trying to see what is bound up. In order from front to back

Some carbon in the rear cylinder but not holding things up
Putting on the front liner but hot holding things up

Oil on the front 2 may have been a head gasket

Found it #1 piston does not move up and down. I assume it was in he up position when I ran it on either. And has slid down with all the moving.

Ok gathered the list of parts and gave the guy who sold it the total. I think I'll be able to get it back together soon

Well turns out it was bdc the rest moved more. There was a nick in the liner causing it to bind up. So new liner and rings

Well the garage flooded and that needed cleaned up. But I got something started today. I'm waiting on the engine guy to send money so on to clutch stuff.

The wet floor
Got to the parts pile but so far nothing looks damaged
Had 8 inches or so by the door

Built a shelf and made more room to work. Maybe a blessing in disguise.
Clutch slave mount.

Above the frame shot.
Nuts welded on
Mock up had to trim more
Room on the back showing how close it was.
Clutch line bent and in place just needs holders and a flex line
Resivoir
Close to the hood but will work well
Added a piece to the linkage so I can attach the slave. I'm debating using the ball end on it or a Clevis style with adjustment.

E brake cable extension. With the body lift it would not fit.
E brake hooked up.
Horn line under the rear cab cross member.
Then loops around the frame.
Comes through the drivers side.
Then to the air valve. Also made the bracket for it.

Got control arms today. They are dodge front arms but as an or geometry they should function well with the right mounts. For the price I could not pass them up
