Red stripe / line on either the tires or the wheels would make a really nice accent to the truck I think. I found a couple examples on the web that looked nice but won't post them here because they were not Fords and "some" people just have kaniption fits when other brands are posted here..
Karri's surgery went well, she's at home sleeping. Picked up the Transit, they're saying that they fixed it by reflashing the PCM. Skeptical doesn't even cover my thoughts on that, I don't think they fixed anything. They think I confused it by filling it with E85, but of course can't explain why it ran great for almost 300 miles before quitting. Hope I don't have to tow it back, but I'm not real optimistic.
Glad the surgery went well...
I hope the Transit continues running well.. If I were you, I think I would keep putting E85 in it or alter every other tank to see if you can force a failure of the system. Flashing the PCM seems kind of hokey to me. Grunged memory in EEPROM / SRAM / PAL is something that was 25 or more years ago in early implementations..

Here's an example wheel though...
I was thinking that is what you meant but wasn't sure. I doubt Dave will go for that since he is going for the blacked out look. Those are sharp looking tires though on the right vehicle.
Go ahead and post the other pictures if you want Randy. I certainly would! You may get some crap for posting them but who cares. It is all in fun! We all can appreciate nice looking vehicles. I am not sure who the "some" people are you are referring too but the last person that got bent out of shape over a picture comment was you when you called me a dick so.......

Just a point of clarification - I didn't call you a dick, I said "Don't be a dick" and followed it with the wonky smiley face..
Don't worry - it's all good... Some people just don't like anything but Ford. I own a lot of stock in Ford by my support of them, but own GM and Jeep (which I suppose now could be considered some sort of Fiat through a bungled marriage.. Then there are my motorcycles - Polaris Victory, Honda Hurricane, Kawasaki Ninja - and of course my SxS which is Arctic Cat.
Point in fact - I really and truly like some things about all cars. That doesn't mean I want to own them but still appreciate them..

Yep, I'd have to agree with that. I've never jumped on the brand-bashing wagon, I think that's typically a sign of willful ignorance. Someone has a bad experience and declares everything in the same category as garbage. Think that's known as a cognitive bias.
Got my reproduction shock plates and full SS Badging for my 69 Camaro today..
Rear shocks should be here Friday.
Now I can get busy getting the traction bars and air shocks off the rear along with the shackles to return it all to stock. All this junk including the Z28 badging has been on the car since it was close to new.
I figure that finishing the cleanup and return of the car to as stock as possible will help boost its value when I put it on Hemmings soon.
Oh yeah, and I need to take a look at the front brakes as they are a bit grabby.
I'll miss the car, I'm sure, but I need to focus on only one car project...
If it does not sell this year, I may just freshen up the original engine and put it back in the car. That will free up a nice little 355 that I built for it..
