It is a weird shifter unless you're used to how motorcycle shifters work.

The shifter in our 15 Jeep Wrangler is a but strange as well and if you bump into it sideways like I did the othe day while Dar was driving, it thinks you want to bump shift manually and it knocks it down a few gears.. Good thing we were only doing about 50 when it happened!! I was turning around in my seat to get something out of the back seat when it happened.. I would have thought there would be some sort of interlock!

The shifter does not seem like a big deal to me.

It hasn't sucked nearly as bad as i thought it would. Just getting it out of the camper was the worst as it's heavier than i expected.

I should have taken some before disassembly. I watched a whole bunch of youtube videos, some are a little lengthy but very detailed.

The yellow crust is apparently a sure sign of leaking ammonia. As well as the obvious smell.

Everything that needed removing for the repair.....

Good evening everyone.

Had an appointment with Hannah this morning, then drove around to a few mobility dealers to get quotes. They ranged from $10,800-$14,900. This stuff isn't cheap! Hoping we get approval soon, Hannah's new chair shows up tomorrow.

That looks great!

Is that 20% tint on the front? I forgot to ask you this past weekend.

No kidding Randy! The largest chunk of that is the lift, which is one of the more expensive models. We are looking for one that you don't have to lower for passengers to enter and exit, and Ricon makes one called the Slide-Away. It's a dual-post lift that folds together as it stows.

Boy that sure looks complex Tom. But it also looks like fewer changes will need to be made to the van..

Good morning Dave and the rest of the crew!

Survived another use of force training. Slightly beat up and cut up wrists otherwise good.
