I'll do mine tomorrow if it's not raining, I was busy in the shop today fitting my Smart strips on my running boards and getting things ready to paint..
Yesterday I spent close to 6 hrs cutting grass and by the looks of the weather outside I maybe doing it all over again Monday. Hopefully it rains over the weekend as it`s still on the dry side here and I don`t certainly don`t mind more seat time.
I don't mind cutting grass and wouldn't mind having a bigger yard but right now I'm kind of involved with this truck. I want to have it painted this summer and put back together and do the final touches over the winter so it will be ready for spring..
I slice n dice my yard and 3 other front yards in about an hour, I actually do the neighbors for the needed exercise but it gets me all kinds of hero bisquits and has helped tighten up the folks on this street. There must be a weird moon this weekend as we had a wild 5 minutes here this afternoon. Long story short, hard working neighbors 3, 2 junkies and a lowlife, 0. New neighbor got his eyes opened and now we know that there is " law enforcement " in the hood. Theres a bbq and laugh session tomorrow.
Man, 2 houses burned down with 2 others severely damaged last night out here in Airdrie. Happened about 10 houses away from me. Pretty happy to still have my house, car, motorcycle. Most importantly my dogs! Nobody was hurt in the fires also, thankfully.
This is the $70, clean up my yard shed that I'm building for my neighbor. It was prefabbed in my yard then knocked down, taken 4 doors down, reassembled followed by getting shelved, skinned and painted. Came home one day and saw a bunch of used siding on the new neighbors yard and grabbed enough for the shell, put it on and went over for more to finish the door and he had hauled the siding away, damn, theres 3 more sheds in the hood that could've been sided.
So now I got to create a door seeing as I have no more siding available, the roof is going to be an opaque plexi sign board that used to belong to the Calgary Calvary Temple, figured it would double as a skylight. This thing is going to be a gardening shed and winter storage for 6 patio chairs. In the next day or 2 I'll dig out the rollers and push it up against the fence, and y'all thought I was going to leave it in the middle of the patio.
