Still on the fence about installing the HPX,some have mentioned it wasn't a noticeable improvement, to add more fittings/potential leak sources.any opinions on this?

I've been running the RiffRaff version about 8 months. No problems.
As far as the fittings, gosh, it's only two fittings with orings. I heard about earlier designs leaking, but haven't really seen it here.
The fuel bowl rebuild was a complete success, thanks to the Brotherhood. Installed the new O ring kit. Upgraded the FPR to the billet version, replaced the EBPV tube, pulled the sensor and cleaned it all up. Put a rubber sleeve over the passenger side fuel line. Changed the fuel filter and charged the bowl. She fired right up and ran perfectly. No leaks, no hesitation, no hiccups. Thanks for the help guys !

Awesome
Did you reverse the canoodler? It's supposed to increase HP and fuel mileage significantly
Yes, but I understand it only improves it if you pop for the billet one with the gold spring!! Seriously, what spring did you use on the fpr? is a little more pressure with the other springs helpful if I'm running a basically stock motor?
I passed on the RiffRaff HPx and opted for the CNC hose style HPx. It was mounted well and tight as I could get it and it leaked on both sides where the compression fittings were. It did not leak where it connected to the head because there was an o-ring there. I am still waiting to hear back from CNC if there was a micro crack in the fitting or what the problem may have been.
The hose looked and felt very robust like a quality piece. After just 100 miles though I could see it was leaking when the oil was under pressure. I did NOT notice any difference in the way the truck ran, idled or sounded when the HPx line was on the truck. It is said that you can get the same oil flow by removing the check valves in the HPOP lines, but I have not done that as of yet.
I may get the RiffRaff HPx line, but it is at the bottom of my list with plenty of other things before it.
Diesel O-rings sent 3 springs, and I used the silver, or "stock" spring, as my injectors (etc) are all stock. I figure if I want to go up to a stiffer spring, it is really easy to do with the new billet fpr. The silver spring is a little stiffer than my old one, so I decided to start there. If it helps at all, the throttle response is crisper after the work I did. I suspect that I may have had air invading into the system due to my fuel leak. Either way, I am very satisfied with the outcome.

The RiffRaff version DOES has a forwards and backwards orientation. The difference is subtle, but you'll notice one direction allows both ends to tilt into the correct/straight to the connector orientation.
