Hey guys i just noticed a fuel leak at the back side if the fuel bowl and ours dropping into the valley. I believe it is coming from the fuel shutoff valve and the sensor next to it. are these both repairable with the fuel bowl rebuild kit or do I need to do something else to fix this problem once I run the truck again I will confirm where the leak is coming from but I believe it is coming from the valve itself.
I do agree the drain valve is the main culprit. If you have the time and the kit, I'd pull the bowl and rebuild the entire thing. In your pic, it looks like the fuel lines on the passenger side may be weeping also. With the bowl out of the way, you can look more closely at the status of your HPOP, too.
Buy your orings there. I highly recommend the entire fuel bowl rebuild kit and the billet FPR. My FPR did not break, but the new one is quality. I bought a new drain assembly as well. Blue orings on everything available all new sleeves for fuel fittings.
I thought the removal and install of the fuel bowl was a PITA. I got used to it around the end of the install. I could do it in 1/2 the time now.
If you can't wait for the entire fuel bowl rebuild kit from Guzzle you can get 2 #202 o-rings from any hydraulic shop ( I got them at a Parker Hyd.Store ) for $.68 to get you through til warmer weather
