It will buzz test with an injector unplugged, not sure about the harness reaching but it's worth a try.

OK, Here is what I found. I had a difficult time finding the ohms as when I would search for an ohm reading, it always went to zero or -1. regarless of which pin i used. This was both no. 2 and 4 injector's.

I was able to put number 2 injector wiring harness on to No.4 injector. I then did the buzz test and with the no.2 wiring harness on no.4, no. 4 fired second and I had number 4 wiring harness disconnected which of course, did not buzz. BTW, on stock configuration, number 2 did not buzz at all

From this, I can only assume that my number 2 injector is bad.

Help me with my plan....

From here, I plan to purchase a new OEM (maybe remanufactured) fuel injector for no.2
I also figure I should get the rebuild kit for all 7 injectors and do the nipple cup gaskets too.

Is that too much or should I go deeper and get all new 8 nipple cups too? I don't wanna do this job again and figure replacing the one injector and rebuilding the remaining 7 plus new nipple cup gaskets &/or nipple cups may be the way to go. Heck, if money was no object, I would replace all 8. Consequently, I don't have a money tree

Thank you all very much!

HELL! I reconnected my injectors number 2 and 4 to the correct places and thought, let's try another buzz test. I did and now they all buzz??? One battery is low & it would not start as I had the hood open & radio playing for the past 2 hours Charger is on now and looking to see how it runs?

Any thoughts? I wanna kill this truck kind of

OK, I put everything together and she is running or idling perfect. I suspect a few things. One, possible problem from the PCU and /or FICM to the injector. But BEFORE I go thinking worse case situation.

My truck ran fine before I replaced the ICP sensor..or cleaned & installed a new screen on the ICP. I did remove injector harness. So, maybe a bad connection to inj. no. 2 or a possible short

OR, bad connection to FICM?

OR, possible issue with FICM since battery on drivers side is a bit low. At idle, I've been getting good volts. 13.2-13.8..if memory serves me correctly? I cleared all codes which were p0264 AND p0266.

Any ideas of how to chase possible problems here???

Thanks again everyone!

At this point I would just keep an eye on it. It's possible you just had a loose connection. If it happens again I would suspect the FICM harness.

I think you are correct! Drove her 40 miles and she ran great! No codes. I plan on changing all filters plus coolant filter and adding a little archoil just for added protection

Just to follow up, Put a few thousand miles on her with no problems. That loose injector in fact was the problem. Just in case anyone else has the same problem and does a search on this topic
