Just for a reference, last week when my stocker went bad at 191,000 miles, the list price for the OEM from the local Ford dealer is $630!! My mechanics price was $260. Still too much if you ask me. I probably will pick one up just in case the off brand we put in from AutoZone for $80, goes bad.

mine is approaching 170K and sure if original one or replacement.. it looks like the original OEM one and did not see anything in the paperwork i got from the PO indicating a new pump.

They were on sale about a year ago for about $3 more than this so the price is coming down.
Don't be surprised or alarmed if you find that it is no longer "Made in Germany". The one I purchased was made in one of the former Eastern Bloc countries. I don't remember which. Quality looked good and it is still going strong holding 60 PSI with over 60k miles.
