I then painted the bracket and cable to the Hydra controller to match the beige paint of the interior.
I would suggest ordering from RiffRaff if you go this route as shipping was ~$2 where it would have been ~$15 from DP to my house. Despite the fact that DP is 50 miles down I-85 from me the shipping was 7 times what it was from RiffRaff in Oregon.
I am very happy with the product and how it keeps the controller out of view when needed, but still provides a method of changing or checking the tunes.

The Hydra switch doesn't fit the DP mount from what I have seen?

The one I posted from RiffRaff/DP does fit because it is an open design and not a flush mount. Although, I believe you are right in that the flush mounts for the F5/6 do not play well with the Hydra.
I can see where he'd need to sell about 1000 units to get the price reasonable - and to just break even on the venture. If this were a fancy device he could get $100-$300 dollars out of, it would be one thing - but this is a small bezel. How much is everybody willing to pay for it to avoid the other options? It's 15 bucks for the RRD frame.
I am no businessman and might be out of line here, but perhaps a call to Clay (RiffRaff), Corey (CNC Fabrication), GearHead, PHP or anyone else that sells Hydra's at a decent volume to help get the product made and selling would be the right answer.

It does not. It has to be modified to fit.

I grabbed my belt sander, flipped it over, and then just kept sanding the edges of the switch box and test fitting until I got enough material removed to allow me to wedge the box into the mount.
