It seems like it's the best one so I'm going to get it.
Onto another thing, radiators. I saw someone posted on the '73-'79 f100 and larger group on Facebook about champion radiators. They have 3 full aluminum radiators that fit the 5th and 6th gen ford trucks. They have like a 2 row, 3 row and 4 row I believe. I'm guessing rows are the number of looping coolant lines that determine the width of the radiator. i wanted to know how many rows a stock radiator was but mines underneath everything else that's been taken off the truck so I couldn't see. Champion radiator the way to go? If so how many rows should I get.
Im wanting to make my own breather but the lid that came on the one I have now has raised channels running towards the air nut. I think I'd rather have one that looks smooth like the one in that other thread. Unless the raised channels have something to do with the airflow into the carburetor. I'll post pictures if I need to.
Also, would you think the stock breather is made out of steel or aluminum? Well even at that it came off of a 2 barrel carb and it might not fit a 4 barrel. But still I would have to weld intake hose inlets on it no matter what it came out of.
I'm not sure about the older ones. Most of the newer ones were made out of aluminum I think. Seems like I've seen the remainders of where they riveted the tubes on to the body. They looked like aluminum pieces.
I think mines made out of steel. It's heavy for what it is. But I don't know. the arm is riveted on the housing lol i don't know what I'm going to use to run cold air to the arms from the radiator support. Hoses look like trash.
