Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 34°, wet, rain showers, 1/2" since midnight. Supposed to be a chance of T Storms today and "partly" cloudy. Still waiting for the "partly" part.
Have to drive into town to Lowe's today. The light fixture in the kitchen has a bad wire in it and needs to be replaced. I wondered what I would do this afternoon if I wasn't mowing lawn, cleaning vehicles, tilling up raised beds, doing some pruning......
Good soggy evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Went down to the storage lot and took the camper off of the pickup and then went out to the ranch. Just now getting home.
Its raining so hard I had to slow down to 35 mph with the wipers on high. Time to fix some dinner and watch the race I have on DVR.
I'd be watching Rin Tin Tin AND Sky King if we got them here, but the "old time" station we get doesn't play them. Plays The Rifleman, Bonanza, Marshal Dillon, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Have Gun Will Travel, Lost in Space....but no Roy Rogers, Rin Tin Tin or Sky King.
Occasionally plays a Hop a Long Cassidy........
Lynn watches all the old westerns.........
I liked Voyage to the bottom of the sea.....don't get it here....
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got home from town with a new light fixture, made some coffee, thinking about making dinner...light fixture is still in the bag...shop light on extension cord is working just fine in Kitchen for now.

I miss Hogans Heros and MASH.........
I liked the Cessna 310 in Sky King......
We do get Hogan's Hero's and MASH on that same oldies channel.
Yep the Cessna 310 was great, had models of it as a kid. HOWEVER, Penny was better....had a crush on her.
When I was in and out of Taipei on the P3 in 70's we stayed at the King Hotel in downtown. For "in room" entertainment (Other than the houseboys knocking on the door every couple of hours asking if we cared to "have any entertainment for the evening"), the TV had Sky King and Roy Rogers on. They were very interesting with the commercials. Cal Worthington Ford was advertising "brand new" 1965 Ford Mustangs with his classic "Go see Cal and his dog Spot!"

The good old shows........Nothing worth watching any more.......

That brings back memories.....we get very few of those old shows on TV....unfortunately, because I would sure like to watch some of them. I remember watching reruns ok Sky King when I was a kid in the 60's....loved watching the airplanes...seems to me that in the older episodes he had a different airplane? Still a twin, but older......I could be wrong..
I don't remember the year, but one year Kirby Grant, the actor who played Sky King, came to our county fair for a day....must have been somewhere between 1964 and 1968 or so. I guess the fair brought him in for a promotion. He signed autographs and you could get your picture taken with him. I wasn't into autographs, and if you wanted a picture you had to pay 2 or 3 dollars which I didn't have, so I came home empty handed. I do remember him being quite pleasant as he chatted with us kids......
Other than Tom McCall, the only celebrity I've ever come in contact with.
Pretty nice day today, I cranked up one of the tractors.....just to see if it would start...couple of cranks and it took right off.
The hospital was full busy tonight, So I took some Subway sanwiches to the wife for her to share with her coworkers. (her idea..I can't take credit )
Not a bad Monday....er...Saturday....
