Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 42.2, up from 38 and looks to be shaping up to be a pretty nice day.
Tired this morning. Got my beauty rest disturbed twice last night.
Have to make a trip to the boat mechanic with the boat this morning, the replacement new TV getting here this afternoon and have to get the car detailed out for the funeral tomorrow. Also thinking I'm probably going to have to take the new pressure washer back to Lowe's and have it replaced.

It appears to have a problem at the connection for the pressure hose. The connection keeps vibrating loose causing it to leak and eat O rings and results in the motor continuously surging. The fittings are fine at the wand but leak at the metal fitting on the machine.
Thought it might just be the pressure hose fitting itself, but I reversed it and I'm having the same problem so it is the metal fitting on the washer itself. Also seems to have a heck of a vibration when the pressure pump is operating.
What make is it Jim, I bought an old cheapo years ago that has had a view problems over the years, been meaning to replace it with a better one..
Briggs & Stratton POWERflow+ 3,000-PSI 5-GPM Cold Water Gas Pressure Washer
Other than the leak problem, and maybe the vibration, it works great. The 7 in 1 nozzle is nice because you don't have to be changing nozzles all the time. It has the easy start feature and it seems to work. Very easy starting. The fitting that seems to leak and eat O rings is on the low front next to the supply hose fitting that has the blue knurled **** on it. Cant feel anything rough so maybe there was a problem when the cut the threads??????? The person in that department at Lowe's that I talked to said it was a good machine and its the first problem she had heard of with it.

That's a really nice looking unit Jim, I just have a no name brand electric 1200 psi unit. You would probably have to be careful with that unit with any decals on your truck so you don't lift them off.
It has "high flow" lower pressure settings by just turning the dial on the 7 in 1 nozzle. They aren't much different that turning the garden hose on.
I had an 1800 PSI electric unit. Was using it the other day and it quit on me. When I turned around to look, there was a lot of smoke coming out of the case. It's in the garbage can now.
Sounds like John is feeling better anyway............and I also will refrain from any comments......
I'm sure PETA supports all our solutions to John's cat population problem. so just pick which ever one works for you. I vote for something that involves gunpowder...
